1. Who processes your data

The controller of your personal data is RS YACHTS s.r.o., Company ID 02940868, with its registered office at Křížová 2598/4, Smíchov, 150 00 Prague, registered under file No. C 225642/MSPH with the Municipal Court in Prague (referred to below as “we” or “RS Yachts”).

Both our branches – in the Czech Republic and in Croatia (Marina Dalmacija Sukošan) – are operated by the same company, so in both cases the controller is RS YACHTS s.r.o.

2. What data we process and why

2.1 An enquiry sent through the form

You will find the form on the Contact page, on the Boat rental page and on the detail page of every boat.

Data

name, e-mail address, telephone number (optional), the content of your message; for rental enquiries also the parameters you enter in the filter – destination, dates of the trip, number of guests, number of cabins and maximum price per week

Purpose

handling your enquiry, answering your question and further communication about our offer

Legal basis

steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); for enquiries that are not aimed at a contract, our legitimate interest in replying to you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR)

An enquiry you send reaches us by e-mail and is at the same time stored in the content management system of the website.

3. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with those without whom we could not provide our service to you:

  • Proof & Reason, s. r. o., with its registered office at Kollárova 703, 508 01 Hořice, Company ID: 616 79 992 – operation of the website, the content management system and hosting, as a processor under a data processing agreement;
  • Intuit Inc. (Mailchimp) – distribution of the newsletter;
  • Google Ireland Limited – Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA and Google Maps.

4. Transfers outside the European Union

We send our newsletter through Mailchimp, a service operated by a company established in the United States of America. Google services are provided to us by Google Ireland Limited, but part of the processing may also take place outside the EU. In both cases the transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

5. Automated decision-making

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or for profiling that would have legal effects for you.

6. Your rights

In relation to your personal data, you have the right:

  • of access – to know what data we hold about you and to obtain a copy of it;
  • to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • to erasure, where we no longer have a reason to process the data;
  • to restriction of processing for the time we are dealing with your objection or with the accuracy of the data;
  • to data portability for data you have provided to us on the basis of consent or a contract;
  • to object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • to withdraw your consent, where the processing is based on consent – the withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

7. Security

The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), only authorised persons have access to its administration, and our suppliers are bound by confidentiality and by a data processing agreement.

8. Changes to this policy

We may amend this policy from time to time – you will always find its current wording here.
